Welcome to Strathcona School of Dancing.

For NEW BEGINNER dancers; we offer New beginner classes for dancers aged 5 to 7 years.  We are unable to offer beginner classes for teens/adults.

Space is still available for this year.

Our new beginner class will be held on Thursdays from 5:00 - 5:45 PM.  Classes are held for 34 weeks, September to June.  Fees are payable monthly, we do charge a non-refundable registration fee of $25.00.  Classes will not be held for 3 week Christmas break, 1 week at spring break and 1 week followin the Provincial Championship held at the end of April.

We request that dancers wear a bodysuit and tights for all classes.  Highland Gillies are not required for New Beginner dancers (they may wear them if they wish); Ballet slippers are acceptable.  Ballet slippers are less expensive and readily avialable at local dance shops.  Ballet slippers are often on sale in August and Septmeber.  If you wish to purchase Highland Gillies, we do carry a small stock of preferred brands.  Please contact us for sizing and prices.
