Active in the Edmonton area since 1995, Strathcona School of Dancing specializes in offering Highland classes from beginner to adult.  

Renowned for its commitment and high level of instruction, results have placed our students at the top of the competitive Highland dancing world over the last twelve years.  With classes running from September – June, we offer 37 week classes for new beginners as well as all levels of competitive Highland dancers.

Looking to book an exciting trip abroad?  Check out the International Highland Dancing Championship of Australia, July 23-26, 2010.  This event includes a workshop, Championship, Pre-Championship, Choreography competition as well as events for all Pre-Premier and Premier dancers.  Entry information in our News and upcoming events calendar. 

Special congratulations to our students who will be representing Alberta in the ScotDance Championship Series in Saskatoon in July; Ashley Abrahart & Mikaili Proulx (7 - under 10 years) and Kirsten Gardner (18 years & over).
